oooooo, I love romances, too! How do you like it so far? Did you see the movie? I usually don't allow myself to watch the movie until I read the book.

I looove Nicholas Sparks books too! Haha(: I agree with you Mrs. Nagaji! I always have to read the book before I see the movie! Right now I am reading a Sarah Dessen book called Keeping the Moon! Her books are great and I really recommend them.

I'll definitely have to check out some Sarah Dessen books this summer, Shawna!

I like th House of Night series.
It's a bit inappropriate but it's hilarious, romantic and has a good storyboard. The 7th book "Burned" came out on April 30th. check it out at www.houseofnightseries.com
!
I'll blog later!

I'm currently reading this book called "Zoobreak" by Gordon Korman. It's a really interesting book and I can guaranteed you that this book has action, teamwork, and robbery ;)

I'm going to start with a book that I began right before school started but never got to finish (since I had to plan lessons and correct papers all year). "Hunger Games," by Suzanne Collins, is the first book, followed by "Catching Fire" and then "Mockingjay," which will come out in August. Hope to finish the first two before "Mockingjay" comes out.

Mrs. Nagaji said...

@jocelyn: does "Zoobreak" have anything to do with animals?

CRYSTALsaysHI said...

@knagaji: OHHHH!!!! I soooo want to read mockingjay!!! I totally LOVE the Hunger Games series.

@LeslieAnn: What book did Riley read, again?

jocelyn took your skittles ^o^ said...

@knagaji: Yes, yes it does

CRYSTALsaysHI said...

@Jocelyn: Hmmm... isn't "Zoobreak" a sequel to something?

Mrs. Nagaji said...

^,^ learning SO much from ya'll!

CRYSTALsaysHI said...

@knagaji: But I thought YOU were the teacher?
>.<
I'm lost...

Do we have to bring a bag to school?

Mrs. Nagaji said...

@Crystal: I'll never stop being a learner--there's no way I can possibly read every book that comes out, so that's one of the reasons I started this blog--so we can share the books that we like and learn from each other!

It also helps me to know what kinds of books ya'll are enjoying, even though one of my goals is to broaden everyone's horizon and introduce some books that you'd never read on your own. By knowing what you are reading, it broadens my horizon, too!

@Crystal: Yes, it’s the sequel to one of my favorite books: “Swindle”. I love it when the kids work to together to get back what’s rightfully theirs ^.^

CRYSTALsaysHI said...

@Jocelyn: Iheard of that!!! I just never read it...

@knagaji: Oh.
O.o
I like harry potter books too. anything fanstasy.

DO WE NEED TO BRING A BAG TO SCHOOL?!?!?!?!

jocelyn took your skittles ^o^ said...

@Crystal: Ooooooh! I love those kind of books! But I also like Sci-Fic :P

Mrs. Nagaji said...

@Crystal: LOL! Sorry, I thought you were asking about the field trip--tomorrow's schedule will be the talent show in the morning and then advisory the rest of the day, so unless you have something to bring, you won't be needing your bag. You will need to wear a uniform and bring your ID since lunch will be served in school--yes, it's a FULL day (we get out at 1:10 p.m.)

CRYSTALsaysHI said...

@Jocelyn: What kind of sci fi?

jocelyn took your skittles ^o^ said...

@Crystal: The Giver was a good book :DD

CRYSTALsaysHI said...

@Jocelyn: ?

jocelyn took your skittles ^o^ said...

@Crystal: The Giver is a science fiction and it was a good book o_O

@Jocelyn: Oh.

Treated myself to a new book since I had a 40% coupon from Borders. Most of the books that I read are geared towards the guys (since they usually don't like to read and need more motivation), so today I bought my first Sarah Dessen book, "Just Listen". Off to a good start in the first chapter! :D

Another book series is "The Choronicles of Vladimir Todd". They are very good, you won't be able to get your nose out of those books :) Its a Vampire book series, Riley and I have been reading them, it'll leave you with A LOT to talk about.

Mrs. Nagaji said...

That series was right next to the Sarah Dessen books and I did pick it up since the covers are so intriguing! So many books, so little time (and $!). Hope the library has them in!

CRYSTALsaysHI said...

@knagaji: O.o
40% COUPON?!?!?!
Borders is my favorite store in the whole world!!!!!!!

Mrs. Nagaji said...

Sign up for a Borders Rewards card. It's free and you use it every time you buy something--they send you emails that contain coupons. Most of the time they're for 20% off, but once in a while you'll get the 30% and 40% ones! Not sure if you have to be 18 and older to get one, but even if your parents were to get it, you can use it!

CRYSTALsaysHI said...

I DO have a Borders Rewards Card!!!!

I'm reading Hunger Games. Just started, so i don't really know what it's about yet. But my brother told me there's killing in it, so i'm kinda scared...xD

Mrs. Nagaji said...

Ok, Karly, I've read a couple of chapters in it, but took a break to read this new book--am working on both. Let me know what part you are on and we can chat about it!
