What are YOU reading?

Just finished the Sarah Dessen book, Just Listen, and enjoyed the author's use of flashback to build up the plot. Since it was the first one I've read by this author, I found it to be a terrific introduction and would definitely read some of her other titles.

Now moving on to finish The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins. What are YOU reading and how are you liking it?

I've read "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusack, "Just Americans: How Japanese Americans Won a War at Home and Abroad" By Robert Asahina, right now I'm reading "Those Who Fall: An Unforgettable Chronicle of War in the Air" By Johyn Muirhead. I'm just loving thses books since they all take place in the WWII period. The "Just Americans" was very apealing towards me from that it has to do with the 100th Battalion (Segregated). Which is where our Senator Daniel Akaka came from.

David, I'm so impressed that you did that much reading while you were on your trip! The WWII books must have been especially meaningful while you were visiting all those sacred sites. Thanks for sharing!

YAY! Stayed up til 4 am finishing "Hunger Games" the other night, and LOVED it! Stayed up to start "Catching Fire" last night and have preordered "Mockingjays". I'm hooked! :O

Karly, did you finish?

@knagaji no, i never got to finish Hunger Games. my brother had to give it to his girlfriend because she wanted to read it. and she still has it. so, when my brother gets it back, i'll be sure to start reading it.

Hi Aaron,
Welcome to our team blog! You will not get extra credit for writing here during the summer, but I will be giving assignments to post on this blog, so the summer was a good time to try it out!

What three books did you read? That's great that you met my challenge, and I know that those 20 worksheets will benefit you this year in math!

Looking forward to seeing you VERY soon!
