Per. 3-Voc. List 3

TOPIC: In the short story, "The Elevator," what will happen to Martin next?
  1. Write a perfect sentence (7 words or more) using the word you were assigned in class
  2. The sentence needs to be about what happens to Martin in "The Elevator".
  3. Check and double check for CUPS (capitalization, usage, punctuation, and spelling)

It will be arduous for Martin get out of the elevator now because, the fat lady is not only glaring at him but, she has also stopped the elevator from moving.

The antecedent to the fat lady eating Martin was that she said "hello" to him in the elevator.

I think the fat old lady just wanted to talk to try to get him unafraid of the archaic elevator.
