Ah, yes, the dromedary.
Just as boring as watching the news.
Its growl is not dulcet,
but more like a scream of terror.
And it has a right to be.
Living in the Sahara Desert is draconian task you know.
No life at all,
everything dormant.
And yet this is animals domain.
It is a mystery to me why this animal thrives,
in such a harsh environment.
Why is the cat
An edifice of orange and yellow
Act in such an eccentric way
A draconian creature
Torturing us with just his stare
Barking instead of meowing
Chasing his tail
A whirlwind of fur
Instead of chasing mice
Other cats leave him dormant
In his domain of solitude
However, others praise him
Giving no duress
To the odd cat
Who dared to be different
The doldrum, how it's beat is so loud.
Marching into history, leading the crowd.
The piece is now a measure of time.
The draconian piece seems to frown
The stress and duress makes it only worth a dime.
So may it lay in it domain, a musty, dusty place on the ground.
I am under duress,
In the doldrums I wait,
For the dulcet music.
Hopefully, it will efface the pain.
The Closet,
Where I am alone is my domain.
Like a bear in their cave,
Dormant in the winter.
No one is there for me,
They are all draconian.
I am a dormant little critter,
The tree is my domain.
No higher than the nearest edifice.
My sound, more dulcet than the singer.
But effaced by the pouring rain.
Now in the doldrums, I just sit in place.
A bird sings a dulcet song
and I came into reality.
Those days in the doldrums,
my thoughts under duress,
has been effaced by the tune.
The past, I was like a shadow
sinking into the darkness;
trapped in a draconian world,
and ignored.
But the present, my hand was taken away
and I left that dormant world into a new.
My first sight of the new world
was a graceful edifice.
I was the domain of that brutal world,
but now,
that world has been erased
by those pure, delightful wings.
Oh woe is me
Dwelling in the doldrums, I remain
in this lame domain
The draconian man who binds me here
Who is in such duress
Like Lohan the Actress
I wish his wails were dulcet
Like water gently dripping from the faucet
They call her a beast
But how could it be
When her voice
Is gentle, dulcet to me?
They don't understand
How she effaces my duress
And frees me of distress
Wth her delicate hands
Oh her hands!
How I long to hold them
For in my draconian home called life
They free me from my doldrums.
Being out in the Sahara Desert
You'll always have to be alert
Since there are many surprises out there
Seeing a dromedary would be pretty rare
As I sat in my domain,
I looked out the window.
The raindrops beat makes such a dulcet sound.
I look upon my life.
With all the struggles, I should
efface the duress that has once put me in the doldrums.
Why act like a draconian dromedary?
that probably has a dormant life; unexciting, pointless
I, am an edifice.
Standing tall and proud, being myself.
An egalitarian, knowing what’s best,
for me.
