I hear a dulcet voice
like the soft ring
of two chiming bells,
so pleasing and precious
to my unworthy ear
drawing me out of my dark domain
making me wish
I didn't need to return again.

But the world shows
its draconian face,
trapping me under its duress
effacing my merry memories
and leaving me
in the dreary doldrums once again.

Outside, it is warm.
But I am cold.
Outside, people are laughing.
But I am crying.
Outside, people are playing.
But I am dormant.

But all I wonder is
When will I hear that voice again?

Dear dreary dromedary,
is it quite necessary
to lay dormant all the time?
You are always in the doldrums,
with your one hump and face so dumb,
you are as useful as a mime.

You must have draconian owners who
put you under duress and whip you
in the vast Arabian desert.
The world is the human's domain,
and though it might be a pain,
humans have lots of power to assert
ON DROMEDARIES.

(nothing against mimes)

Lying here in my domain
Dormant under this duress of boredom

Wishing the dulcet sound of birds' chirping flows
through my window

I lay here,
as still as a statue
my breath the only sound in the room

Waiting.

The beautiful bird sat perched on the branch
tilted his head as I sang.
It's been said that they would become dormant when they heard my father's voice
For me they do the same

I stop every verse to hear them call
But they just sit there waiting in awe
my dulcet voice mesmerizing.

The beautiful bird sat perched on the branch
tilted his head as I sang
For I was in his territory, his house
his domain.

I am careful not to scare him
as I raise up my arm,
he considers it and decides quick
that I'm safe and won't cause him harm.
He flutters his wings and flies to me
and nestles there on my shoulder,
I decide to sit back on a bolder.

But the moment I stop the song
I hear a sound and I don't know where its coming
So I turn my head all around.
Then the next thing I need to do is efface the blood all over my face.
I turn
I see my draconian brother there with his bow and arrow.

It's not fair, I saw him first
But my brother was full of thirst
He has put me in the doldrums
and does not feel sorry.
For the beautiful bird that sat perched on the branch
will make for a good party.

In my hand, I hold the key.
The key which many seek.
It weaves domains and champions
from the doldrums of the dreams.
Of what do I speak?

The village savior,
The castle's hero,
And the nation's queen.

They all lay dormant in this key,
Awaiting to be seen.

But with life, death follows too.
The key has effaced many things,
Condemned, without a second thought.

My key sings dulcet songs to me, as I make them reality.
"How odd,” you think, "keys cannot sing."
But what I say is true.

It drives away draconian thoughts,
Hidden in dormant spaces of my mind.

All I've said it quiet odd, yes?
In your eyes I believe it is so.

Do you know this key?
Of course you do!
You may have one in your hand!

I will tell you, just this once.
The answer which you seek.
My tale has always be about,
The pencil.
Plain as can be.

My teacher acts in such a draconian way.
She gives use homework everyday, yells at use at the top of her lungs and throws away or work. But yet im liking homework more and more everyday.

I rule my own domain!
Of my room

I bring my subjects to the doldrums!
By not doing homework

I leave my enemies dormant like a pole!
From being poked too hard

I am said to be a draconian person!
For telling on my sister

I have a dulcet singing voice!
In my imagination

I put people under duress like the ocean!
When my mood is horrible

I will efface your pride and honor!
In my dreams

And I am proud of these qualities!

I tried to help you,
But you are stubborn as
A tied dromedary!
Or maybe an edifice,
Such as the Empire State Building
Anyways, you keep your ground
Like an egalitarian

I will efface the memories we had,
like fire burning things into ash.
